Summary
The Communications team develops and manages all external and internal communications strategies for Bell. In addition, the team is also responsible for the program management of our Bell Let’s Talk Day initiative, community giving, public affairs and regional sponsorships.
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Communications to help modernize and improve the quality of Bell’s digital communications for internal audiences in order to deliver a greater impact. If you are a communications professional with 6+ years of experience in a web, digital or project management role complemented by strong experience leading digital projects and communications with multiple stakeholders, this may be an excellent career opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and continuously evolve the strategies for Bell’s employee portal
  • Set up a governance process and communicate initiatives that have been implemented on a quarterly basis
  • Leverage data in order to gauge impact of content across channels, and apply learnings to digital platforms
  • Manage expectations and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Manage business relations with external suppliers
  • Manage the end-to-end development process for the employee portal
  • Collaborate with IT and HR to build a solid business case for modernizing the current platform and oversee end-to-end implementation
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve the employee portal and the employee experience
  • Develop and implement the content strategy for all Bell’s subsidiaries in collaboration with their communication teams as part of the Universal Access project
  • Partner with various internal groups and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to stakeholders’ satisfaction
Critical Qualifications
  • Keen attention to detail and comfort building timelines are a must
  • Strong skills in user experience and employee engagement
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, self-motivated, self-starter able to cope with ambiguity, and willing to embrace change
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Understanding of analytics and SEO principles
  • Strong knowledge of collaboration and social media platforms
  • 6+ years of experience in a web, digital or project management role
  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) in French and English, and understand the Québec market
  • Naturally analytical and proactive, and highly organized
  • Strong collaborator; you welcome feedback and see team problem solving as a natural part of the creative process
  • Demonstrated experience leading digital projects and communications with multiple stakeholders
