Job Description
Do you have a passion for design and customer experience? Do you want to be part of shaping the future of Canadian Tire’s in-store experience? The Store Design & Renewal Team is transforming the Canadian Tire Store network through creating and leading the Store Concept Strategy, Store Design, best in class Fixtures and POP development. The Concept Renewal team supports the development and execution of new store design and merchandising concepts throughout the project life cycle from initial strategy development, including day-to-day tracking, roll-out, testing, execution until the decommissioning phase.


Reporting to the AVP, Store Design and Concept Renewal, the Concept Renewal Manager is a results-oriented and pragmatic individual who helps to deliver new concepts and strategies to market on time while exceeding customer expectations. This individual will be responsible for managing and supporting multiple new renewal investigations (at times concurrently) in an often confidential environment while developing process, scope, accountabilities and detailed work plans.


What You'll Do


  • Define, create and conduct analysis on performance thresholds and renewal metrics
  • Create comprehensive project plans for implementing performance enhancement programs and initiatives at the store level
  • Define business case, project scope, processes and detailed work plans for identified initiatives
  • Manage multiple new renewal investigations with varying stakeholders and different groups
  • Create and document processes for renewal strategies and projects
  • Validate program objectives and monitor performance against critical success factors to measure success and adjust plans accordingly to drive results
  • Monitor progress against milestones while engaging appropriate stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Manage the improvement of cross-functional collaboration by supporting all activities that will be executed at the store level and provide clarification on priorities as well as issue resolution and escalation
  • Ensure corporate alignment and corporate impact is understood and considered with all decisions
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate and manage large scale brainstorm sessions
  • Manage the preparation of Senior Management, Dealer and Board of Director presentation. Updates are frequently covering many different work areas and require decision making analysis to be presented
