Lead Medical Reviewer Jobs

Partnered with a full-service contract research organization focused on multicenter and multinational clinical trials. Who is partnered with the academic community and the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries to ensure a successful implementation of their projects while adhering to the highest standards of quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and present regular progress reports, including achievements and potential challenges and/or risks for upper management.
• Lead, manage and direct the medical reviewer team within the Clinical Research department.
• Develop, implement and maintain technical tools needed to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in data collection activities, procedures, systems, and technologies.
• Ensure that the medical reviewer team maintains current knowledge of scientific and regulatory developments.
• Participate in the evaluation and hiring of new candidates and participate in critical managerial decisions (hiring, firing, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally and lead the discussion on safety management topics, requirements, and issues.
• Provide expertise and guidance for the safety reporting and review of medical reports in clinical studies, both internally and externally.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent knowledge of clinical research methodology and a solid understanding of clinical studies, ICH, GCP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Bilingual (French/English) (mandatory).
• Doctor of medicine or equivalent (mandatory).
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
• Significant management team experience (mandatory).
