Job Description

Position Title: Lead Marketing Director

Client Details:

Our client is a well-known Canadian Industry leading Manufacturing Firm serving a variety of industries across Canada

Role Summary:

Our client is looking for a seasoned Marketing Director to work closely with the Executive Team to develop our marketing strategy and build the marketing capabilities required to execute it. This role is perfect for someone with a firm knowledge of B2B Marketing and Digital trends and tools, e-commerce development, and proven experience utilizing this expertise to effectively increase market share. We are looking for someone whose passion matches their drive for performance, and who is committed to helping our client rebrand into a name that is synonymous with customer satisfaction in every sense

Main Job Responsibilities:

·Working collaboratively with the Executive Team, develop and establish the capabilities required to execute the company's Marketing strategy.

·Leverage the company's functional competencies together with external expertise to create the processes & capabilities required for digital marketing & leads generation.

·Establish alignment and work cross-functionally with all relevant stakeholders to develop and implement our re-branding initiative, and ensure campaign and creative alignment; share and leverage insights

·Update, modernize and manage companies’ website, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.

·Create and coordinate companies’ social media strategy, actively engaging with our audiences to gain optimal exposure, and promote our brand & culture.

·Build and develop relationships with key business stakeholders, ensuring ongoing communication and alignment with managers and other department leads.

·Develop, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns and ROI across multiple digital channels.

·Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels (content creation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much more).

·Own the measurement, tracking, and evaluation of effectiveness of all campaigns.

·Analyze channel performance data & deliver key reporting and insights to inform future go-forward strategy.

·Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media outlets that attracts and converts our target groups.

·Stay current and familiar with industry trends and best practices, with an understanding of how they can be applied to digital campaigns.

·Manage sub-contractors, vendors and agency relationships that will help you execute campaigns with excellence.

Location:

Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid) by Pearson Airport


Salary Range:

Competitive Compensation Based on Experience plus bonus plus solid Pension and Benefits

Requirements:

·Bachelors Degree in Marketing

·MBA preferred is considered an asset!

·Minimum of 8 years' B2B marketing experience.

·Experience with website development; analytics tools an asset.

·Knowledge of development of E-commerce - business to business & public at large.

·Familiarity with up-to-date technological tools for digital marketing and social media.

·An understanding of re-branding best practices

·Excellent business acumen (knowledge of customers, products, industry and vendors would be beneficial)

·Strong communication skills, both verbal & written - skilled in effective listening

·Strong project management and organizational skills

·Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines

·Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
