Unilever Canada is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and grow our Ice Cream business across eCommerce, dCommerce, and the Convenience & Gas channel. Reporting into the Head of Sales – Ice Cream, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation & communication of our customer plan, including trade investment management and application, that drives aggressive growth for one of the fastest growing segments within CPG.
ICNOW was born from an idea to place a cabinet in a delivery partner’s HQ to test if consumers would be interested in ordering ice cream online in the same way they order pizza and burgers. Fast forward five years and ICNOW delivers smiles in more than 40+ countries and grew exponentially by ensuring consumers can have ice cream through three routes to purchase: Ice Cream with a Meal, Ice Cream with Groceries, and Virtual Ice Cream Shops.

  • Lead the execution of the 6P’s while maximizing ROI of promotions and trade investment to deliver targets within allocated budgets
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Strategy, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain) on annual plans and opportunities.
  • Delivering ambitious growth targets within one of the fastest growing verticals in CPG by creating annual joint business plans with key channel partners
  • Maintaining excellent trade relations and customer support for our brands through effective execution of brand strategy in combination with complete understanding of the customer’s unique needs and the marketplace conditions
  • Working closely with Operations to roll out and execute ICNOW and C&G ice cream strategy with key channel partners
  • Manage the customer interface with key customer stakeholders
  • Lead effectively the growth of Ice Cream business with Food platforms, Food chains, Virtual Ice Cream Shops, Convenience and Gas retailers through applying best in class selling strategies
What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Passion and dedication to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous digital, account management or trade/consumer marketing experience (minimum 3+ years) is preferred
  • Note: This position requires you to travel to and from the account, a valid drivers’ license in good standing is required
  • Deep commitment to building talent and teams in an environment of diversity, inclusion and psychological safety
  • Proven track record of driving solid business results, strategic annual planning, digital media investment and trade investment management.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and negotiation skills, combined with creative thinking to challenge the status quo and develop new ideas.
