General Description:
The Junior Business Systems Specialist will assist in the implementation, support and training of the pertinent Business (IT) systems at Madison Group. Post successful implementation, the successful candidate will help internal users become proficient using the software by providing systems support and training as well as evaluating, responding, and troubleshooting application issues. This position will work closely with third-party IT support service and technology providers, relevant business stakeholders, and project committees to ensure the consistent and successfully delivery of each software application.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Help facilitate meetings and training sessions, online or in person as well as group session
- Participate in all phases of the business systems implementation including planning, requirements gathering/definition, testing, execution and implementation as well as assisting in implementation of upgrades and enhancements.
- Be the first point of contact for the business systems technical support questions and issues.
- Become an advocate for the new systems by becoming a subject matter expert and supporting end-users whenever needed.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
- Help create and update user manuals and other end-user training material to aid in continuous learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with users, management, and project teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically working knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheets, etc.
- Experience interpreting business processes, workflows, and systems to proactively identify solutions or opportunities for application improvements.
- Minimum 1- 2 years in supporting IT systems implementation and/or IT project coordinator experience is required.
- Experience in managing expectations and working in a multi-user/multi-division environment.
- Experience using Zoom and Microsoft Teams for online meetings.
