About This Role

We are looking for someone to plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align to standards and frameworks. You will provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.

• Collaboratively work with Model Risk Management, Control Performance, Adaptive Strategy and Product Owners to resolve model performance issues and activities.
• Develop data pipeline and monitoring dashboard for ongoing model performance monitoring.
• Participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes and other requirements work products.
• Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
• Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, taking into account non-functional requirements.
• Assist in conducting value-added business analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business unit/client endeavors, including ad-hoc reviews, reporting, and takeaways with attribution analysis and executive summaries within own area or as assigned.
• Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.
• Apply sound judgement, discretion and collaborate with internal partners to navigate and resolve issues, and deliver value-added solutions.
• Work with vendors to support business case development (consistent with technology requirements and guidelines) including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to determine solution, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.
• Respect existing processes and standards including requirements management and project management disciplines, technology delivery and business technology architecture, escalating issues as needed.
• Analyze authentication data and work with stakeholders to identify business logic flaw, prevent unauthorized access and mitigate fraud events.
• Be the SME in understanding how each model in the process interact and work with each other and use data driven insights to improve orchestration.
• Improve processes within area including but not limited to those related to reporting, planning, and forecasting; contribute to overall effectiveness of the organization.
• Use strong communication skills to communicate complex issues in easily understandable terms.
• Work on documentation and testing, communicate with vendors to support vendor model validation exercises.
• Evaluate and monitoring of model performance using common model performance monitoring metrics. Translate model output to actionable insights to support strategy improvements.
• Conduct meaningful qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis on vendor data and propose solutions to mitigate fraud issues and reduce friction on genuine customers.

• Experience with AI and ML models and its application in identity verification, face verification and fraud.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python working with large log data.
• Experience with Threat Metrix and Lexis Nexis Solutions.
• Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline.
• Ability to create presentations in MS PowerPoint to share analytical results with leaders.
• Graduate Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of data science modeling techniques, metrologies (Experience with xgboost, optimization algorithms and fraud risk assessment).
• Commitment to applying expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing and project management.
• Experience and comfort level acting as a subject matter expert and consultant, as well as contributor to potential project assessments.
• Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
• Ability to work independently as the senior or lead system analyst and coach or guide team.
• 7+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with fraud and fraud rule system, fraud model development/testing, model risk management experience within large Financial Institution.
