To meet this requirement, the strategy of Customer Service & Supply group continues to focus on end-to-end processes, systems, and collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing, customers, and service providers. In support of this commitment, Diageo has implemented global processes and systems, using SAP as the base technology platform.

Critical to the success of the new processes are people who have an outstanding blend of supply chain experience, SAP and IT knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, project and change management skills, and the ability to influence the business to adopt the process/system disciplines necessary to become a best in class supply organization.

Role Purpose

• Identify process and system improvement opportunities as they relate to the supply chain and supporting systems, and drive them through full implementation
• Provide first line of support for resolution of functional and technical SAP end-user issue requests
• Implement end-to-end testing for new system functionality and migrations.
• Serve as the authority and systems lead for the business related to SAP configuration, data, and technical architecture changes
• Perform root-cause analysis on systems and process issues, and develop solutions to prevent the issues from recurring
• Serve as a focal point for system migration activities, e.g. User Acceptance Testing and coordination of business partner sign-off
• Provide knowledge transfers to end-users for system changes and upgrades
• Participate as functional guide in future SAP related projects; Liase with other supply functions to ensure integrated solution

Role Responsibility

• Reports to Director, NAM Systems & Data Excellence
• Participate as part of a larger team of Super Users across the landscape in support of end users and local subject authorities.
• Requires ability to develop relationships and lead / influence others across all levels within the organization
• Identify and drive forward continuous supply chain process improvement opportunities
• Liaise with applications support and Business Support Network regarding SAP issues which cannot be directly resolved
• Support knowledge transfers to users for system changes / upgrades / new migrations
• Support the delivery of projects ranging from $200k - +$1M
• Team leader roles in future SAP enhancement projects to provide key linkage between project and existing business process
• Work with business teams to support the development of business cases for supply chain process and systems improvement projects

Desired Experience

• Preferred degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Ability to work under stress, prioritize tasks, and deliver results
• Knowledge and experience implementing best practice process improvements and using business functionality of SAP
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience leading teams and influencing business partners
• Project and change management experience
• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred
• In-depth and broad knowledge of SAP modules and functionality, with specific focus in OTC
• 5+ years experience in related supply chain roles; Prior management experience preferred
• Good understanding of total end-to-end supply chain planning and processes
