It Security Consultant (Tenable Vulnerability) - Contract $70.00 P/H (Remote - Canada)

Role: Tenable Security Consultant (Vulnerability)

Structure: 3-6 month contract (contract will go until end of December and then likely be up for renewal)

Location: Remote in Canada

Pay: $70 INC. per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday (business hours)

Our client is seeking an IT Security Consultant with experience with Tenable Security (Vulnerability Managment) for a 3-6 month contract with a strong potential for extension.

Requirements:

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a constantly evolving environment.
• Experience with I.T. security systems, including firewalls, endpoint protection, SSO, authentication systems, MDM, log management, content filtering, remote access, etc.
• Experience with multiple industry-leading security testing environments and tools, as well as, network assessment tools such as SIEM, Nessus, Tenable Security Center
• Industry certification (such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or similar) is highly desired.
• Experience with and understanding of the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Minimum of 7 years of I.T. security experience plus experience in I.T. Security administration, server administration or network administration, security implementation, vulnerability assessment, solutioning and security architecture design
