ServiceNow Administrator (Remote-Ottawa, Canada)

We are looking for a ServiceNow Administrator for our client, a Canadian Federal entity. This position will play a pivotal role in optimizing and maintaining our client's platform. This role involves configuring and customizing ServiceNow, addressing incidents, managing changes, and collaborating with teams to enhance business processes.

This is a 6 month (extensions likely) contract role, 40 hours per week. This is a remote role based out of Ottawa, Canada.

Responsibilities

• System Monitoring and Maintenance - Proactively oversee system performance, implementing optimizations. Uphold data integrity, security, and availability.
• Integration and Data Management - Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via APIs. Manage data imports, exports, and transformations.
• Incident Management - Monitor and resolve incidents promptly. Skillfully troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Configuration and Customization - Tailor ServiceNow workflows, forms, and modules to meet business needs. Develop automated solutions using platform tools.
• Security and Compliance - Implement vital access controls and security measures. Participate in audits and compliance.
• User Support and Training - Assist users, offering guidance on ServiceNow features. Craft user-friendly documentation.
• Change and Release Management - Collaborate on change and release processes. Ensure system stability through upgrades.
• Continuous Improvement - Stay updated on ServiceNow advancements, suggesting enhancements. Drive adoption of new features and practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Canada Federal Security Clearance is highly desired.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.
• 5+ years experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
• Ability to design and implement workflows, automation, and improvements.
• ServiceNow certification(s) preferred
