About The Role

We are Power Factors, developer of the world's leading cloud platform for renewable energy. We are now looking for an Intern, Devloper (4 months) fall session to join our dynamic team.

Our platforms collect millions of IoT and other data points, cleanses the data, detects occurring issues, identifies leading indicators to predict future issues, and adds a full advanced analytic capability on top of this rich, high value dataset. In addition to issue detection and analytics, our platform adds the toolsets needs to take analytic insights to action such as case management and work order management.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new and existing software applications
• Collect, process and analyze data Write effective, scalable code
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Participate in development team meetings
• Participate in development team meetings

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in web technologies
• Experience with infrastructure platforms such as Google Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python 3, Flask, JavaScript, etc

Qualifications

• Proven team player, able to gain the respect of clients and colleagues;
• Knowledge of Python framework & front-end technologies
• Bilingual French and English (an asset).
• Graduating Fall 2023 or newly graduated spring 2023 or Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of security practices and protocols for web applications.
