Inbound Coordinator Job Highlights

• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Send out detailed rate requests to carriers in a timely manner and update pricing spreadsheets.
• Weigh alternative financial decisions before taking action.
• Enter all load opportunities into TMS. Update TMS system with current and changing shipment information.
• Insure all carrier critical information is current.
• Handle all incoming phone calls.
• Provide detailed instructions to carriers to ensure on-time delivery, estimating times or arrival and delivery's.
• Call and add on additional partner carriers.
• Follow orders from start to finish. Track loads with carrier by phone calls or emails and communicate back and forth with the customers.
• Provide load exception investigation and reporting.
• Coordinate load pickups and delivers with carriers and customers.
• Process customer orders, plan and tender to partner carriers.
• Handle rate negotiations with carriers and shippers on a spot rate basis.

Inbound Coordinator Job Requirements

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• 1 year + of sales experience
• Excellent communication skills; Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset
• Proficiency in transportation software; direct experience in Loadlink (load brokering system); UFOS (Universal Freight Operating System) and Yard Commander would be considered strong assets
• Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers
• 1 year + of experience in logistics or transportation
• High functioning within the Microsoft Office Suite
• Post - secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience

Inbound Coordinator Job Schedule

Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
