We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have abackground in production, be mechanically minded, with inventory control, logistics, and shipping/receiving experience.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including production, inventory control, order picking, and shipping/receiving
-Ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner
-Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
-Ensure that all orders are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner
-Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
-Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
-Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain management is an asset
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
-Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems
-Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-computer literacy an asset
Salary:$23/hour during probationary period, with potential increase to $25-27/hour based on performance
