Schedule: Full Time


We are looking to hire an experienced, results-driven Operations Supervisor to assist with the overall operations of a growing, Security Company. As an operation supervisor, you will be responsible for, employee relationship management, and budget management for an assigned portfolio.


Baig Secured is a Canadian security company based out of Burlington, expanding into Hamilton Ontario, providing a complete spectrum of private security, investigations, and customized solutions.


We provide professionally trained uniformed Security Guards, Mobile Patrol, Private investigators, and Loss Prevention Services.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor uniform allowances
  • Ensure accurate cost-effective training both for new staff and ongoing development.
  • On-call by phone and email 24/7
  • Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facilities and ensure service is of the highest standards
  • Provide accurate and Timely reports about each site to management
  • Maintain schedules utilizing the latest scheduling software.
  • Diligently work on keeping staff turnover low.
  • Ensure scheduling stays within budget with minimal overtime costs
  • Development and implementation of staffing schedules, budgets, payroll, and other reports
  • Work closely with and provide support to the operations team and management
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees.
  • Routinely visit and inspect supervisors and security officers assigned to accounts within the business unit, including but not limited to reviewing reports, providing training & guidance, evaluating proficiency ensuring compliance to contract specifications policy, providing assistance when necessary, and initiating corrective action as required
  • A flexible work schedule to provide after-hours support to clients when required
  • Ensure progressive discipline is followed on all corrective actions. Oversee daily operations at each assigned site. Ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently by providing support through both onsite visits and open communication
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and complete workplace investigations
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the accounts


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A college degree in business, security management or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 1-year management experience; 3 years preferred
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience scheduling of officers; reviewing and processing of payroll, with at least a minimum of one (1) year of administrative or supervisory/managerial level experience, ability to plan, organize and implement administrative and operational programs and procedures, which includes office management, verification of time and attendance for staffing.
  • Prefer three years of security experience in the security field with management/oversight of at least 30 officers and a team who work on shifts that are 24/7.
