Highbury is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our warehouse department as a Warehouse Supervisor. This key role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to designated processes and procedures, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records in SAP.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment and report any deficiencies.
- Lead and schedule day-to-day activities of the warehouse operation, prioritizing safety and ensuring proper inventory management in SAP.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Ensure accurate completion of all cycle counts and promptly address any inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Quality team by assisting with samples, identifying quality issues, and appropriately segregating inventory.
- Provide guidance and direction to Leads and Operators, ensuring they meet daily requirements and adhere to the overall plan.
- Continuously train staff on required processes and procedures.
- Monitor daily shipment and production planning processes.
- Adhere to all food safety and GMP compliance standards.
- Conduct thorough investigations and promptly evaluate and address non-conforming stock.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Weekend work and shift rotation including the night shift.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate in group settings.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience, with warehouse experience considered an asset.
- Post-Secondary education or equivalent (relevant field of study).
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with SAP is an asset.
