Production Supervisor Jobs

Position Summary

This role reports to the Production Superintendent and is in charge of providing an exceptional level of supervision to a shift of hourly associates working in a continental location in order to achieve safety, quality, and production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Examine and suggest modifications to the production processes, machinery, and other tools and equipment.
• Participate in and make a contribution to efficient manufacturing
• In order to consistently increase productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, it is important to monitor and control production assets with regard to machinery, personnel, and raw materials.
• Apply the collective bargaining agreement, policies, and rules equally and consistently.
• As necessary, communicate with the administrative, plant, and supervisory staff.
• Record and/or notify the Plant/Production Superintendent and Quality Supervisor of any product damage or non-conformities.
• Maintaining efficiency and cost management while maximizing safety, product quality, and quantity with all assigned hourly workers on the shift.
• Comply with the policies and procedures for quality control
• Interact with Hourly
• Any issues with the systems, facilities, machinery, equipment, or tools should be reported right once to the plant manager or production superintendent.

Qualifications

• Self-driven person with excellent planning, time-management, and analytical abilities
• Ability to collaborate and contribute in a team atmosphere that has been demonstrated
• 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
