Production Supervisor

Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the production process and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving production excellence and meeting project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate work of employees on crew
• Communicate with other supervisors to help achieve and maintain smooth workflow and a high degree of productivity
• Assign work, set expectations and accountability for completion
• Adhere to labor contract and ensure compliance
• Assign and status jobs/coordinate operational schedule
• Foster an environment that is focused on safety and recommend process improvement initiatives
• Ensure quality and timeliness of work is completed within budgeted parameters
• Comply with all company procedures

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 2 – 3 years supervisory experience in a production environment
• Red Seal or equivalent desirable
• 6 – 9 years applicable trade experience in an industrial, mechanical, manufacturing or shipbuilding environment
• Completion of some College / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
