Post- secondary education, college or university with a focus on Supply Chain or Purchasing Management

Strong knowledge of Logistics Systems and Supply Chain Management, and have a deep understanding of purchasing, planning and inventory control

Experience in supplier management and inventory planning

Previous experience utilizing an ERP system and business management tools

Manage and maintain excellent relationships with the suppliers in your portfolio

Design and implement inventory reduction initiatives such as vendor managed inventory

Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management

Education beyond High School Diploma, and/or prior experience managing employees and leading a team

Providing vacation coverage for Area Managers

Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager

5+ years working experience within logistics data analytics (ideally in a retail environment) or logistics service provider

An understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment, transportation and DC operations

University degree with preferred concentration in Supply Chain Management/Business Management/Business Analytics/IT or equivalent work experience

Lead team that manages domestic and import operations, data & analysis, and customs brokerage

Manage freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with CBSA and other regulatory agencies

Develop PowerPoints and present to key partners and senior leaders within Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance

Hybrid role with 80% remote and up to 20% working onsite at DCs/HQ

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain with focus on inbound and import transportation or procurement
