About the Role
This is a full-time remote role based in Ontario.We are looking for someone who has a passion for sales and can establish rapport with customers.The Account Executive will sell dental practice management software to new customers
Responsibilities
Business Development (hunting for new business)
Prospect for new business by:
- Attending networking events and trade-shows
- Leveraging social media to reach out to prospective customers and to raise the awareness of the ClearDent brand within the assigned territory
- Working proactively with 3rd party and partner companies to nurture referral-based business opportunities
- Using various direct methods such as cold calling and face to face meetings (drop-ins)
Manage the sales lifecycle from qualifying to closing new business
Qualify new sales opportunities and convert them into new business by:
- Working with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of new business and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work with technical staff (Implementation team and Product team) when needed to address customer requirements
- Maintaining a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
- Conducting software demonstrations to highlight the capabilities of our product and to align our solutions to prospective customer’s business problems
- Determining customer needs by completing a full needs analysis
- Consulting with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
- Establishing clear next steps with prospective customers to advance the sale as quickly as possible
- Preparing competitive and compelling customer proposals that differentiate ClearDent from our competition
Sales Territory Management
Develop and refine an individual sales strategy to ensure successful outcomes by:
- Developing and maintaining key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes, and forecasted sales
- Developing and maintaining territory plans which outline how sales targets are met on an ongoing basis
- Creating incentives to entice prospective customers to choose ClearDent
Sales Administration
Manage a clear and organized pipeline of business opportunities by:
- Reporting on sales activity
- Providing forecasts on the best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
- Keeping detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions in CRM
- Other duties as may be required and assigned by the Manager
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in an outside dental technology sales role
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in a business-related field
- Comfortable with technology, strong computer skills
- Know the Ontario market
- Resides in the GTA is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Suit, Atlassian, Confluence, and Jira
