HR Business & Geography Partner will play a key role to support a growing office in Toronto, Canada as well as Global Business Units in multiple locations.

Your scope and role will include the key areas within the employee experience:

HRBP

• Provide guidance to the senior leadership team regarding change management on key organizational development initiatives and projects
• Partner with other HR Functions – Staffing, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits to execute robust recruitment, retention, and development actions
• Roll out solutions by aligning HR strategies and initiatives to the business objectives
• Promote and support a robust performance management, succession and development planning process including annual reviews, coaching, and career development
• Responsible for providing proactive consulting and coaching to designated business leaders

Geo

• Responsible for coordinating benefits including renewals of insurances, pension plan etc together with our Comp & Ben function
• Involved in the site management (Business Continuity Management, Floor plan…)
• Provide local HR policy guidance to employees and management
• Responsible for maintaining policies including employee handbook and other global policies whilst ensuring compliance with local requirements and legislations
• Maintain and nurture collaborative relationship(s) with the HR Community
• Provide pragmatic, consistent guidance to the management and employees on all aspects of employee relations
• Coordinate Mobility in and out of the locations with HR Business Partners
• Advocate for Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing, and the culture in the office generally
• Point of contact for local management (attending management meetings, give updates).

About you:

You would have worked in professional HR roles ideally within the financial services and or insurance sectors.

You should hold:

• Appetite for networking skills to ensure a global perspective on HR solutions and the ability to connect local, regional and Head Office topics and colleagues together.
• HR Operational experience would be an advantage
• Attention to details, reliability, and diligence.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in influencing HR outcomes with senior business stakeholders.
• A personality that demonstrates credibility with all levels of the organization.
• Intercultural awareness e.g., international work experience
• 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Proven track record of partnering with and delivering value to clients.
• Ability to work within a Group Framework and Collaborate and Communication will all partners and stakeholders

• Please note our Hybrid Work policy requires all employees are required to be in our downtown Toronto offices Tuesday-Thursday every week. Monday and Friday are designated work from home days
