Job Description

The role: HR Operations Partner

We are looking for a HR Operations Partner to join the team based in our Richmond Hill, Toronto office.

HR at Flutter is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, implementing Workday as the people technology platform across three divisions, and establishing a cross-divisional Global HR Operations team to support Flutter to drive first-class HR delivery and support for Flutter’s employees. This includes a new virtual Global Operations Support team to act as the front line for Flutter’s people for all things HR.

There is an exciting opportunity for a Support Partner to join this newly formed global team and play a crucial role in managing and resolving HR queries from Flutter’s people as they arise. They will be responsible for guiding employees on how to use their new HR systems and processes effectively and driving operational excellence in HR.

This team will be delivering HR support through Workday’s support tool, Workday Help, answering a range of “How do I?” questions and queries and supporting transactions for Flutter’s people across the employee lifecycle from hire to retire.

If you are organised, enjoy problem solving and are customer serviced focused, this could be the perfect role to make a move into the HR world.

Why we need you:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to specific HR-led projects and/or initiatives as cascaded down from Global HR Operations management.
  • Monitor progress against SLAs and delivery against agreed scope, performance, and timelines.
  • Build knowledge of location and/or division-specific practices, applying this to improve the future delivery of services.
  • Responsible for escalating employee queries to the appropriate teams when In-Country, escalated or specialist support is required.
  • Manage and process HR hire to retire transactions in Workday, including complex Workday transactions and mass data uploads, gathering the appropriate level of information to correctly process as required and in alignment with established Flutter practices.
  • Collaborate with other Global HR Operations Partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience whilst maintaining compliant with Flutter standards and business expectations.
  • Monitor the completion of employee queries end-to-end, continually identifying opportunities to improve processes and services, whether location or process-specific.
  • A member of the Global HR Operations team that will act as the go-to resource for “How do I?” questions that are sent through the Workday Help case management tool, for the majority of employee populations across 25+ markets, providing them with an excellent, best-in-class experience.

Who are we looking for:

  • Comfort navigating through and processing transactions in an HR enterprise system (Workday preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive data and/or employee matters.
  • Proven ability to support employees across the globe, taking into account local nuances preferred.
  • Focused on employee experience and efficient process delivery.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify and solve problems as required.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience working within a customer service environment.
  • Experience working within HR Operations with knowledge of employee lifecycle processes preferred.

What’s in it for you?

Our experience-based salaries are competitive. Plus, there’s a discretionary annual performance bonus.

Your package will include:

  • External learning support of up to £2,000 or equivalent in local currency, dedicated 4 learning “Power Hours” every month during office time, full access to the Udemy and Mindtools platforms, in-house leadership program and many other training opportunities for developing your skills and progressing your career
  • 26 weeks Maternity leave at 100% pay & 4 weeks secondary leave pay (paternity) at 100% pay
  • 30 days paid leave
  • A personal interest allowance to let you learn something new or pursue a hobby
  • Looking to extend your family? You will receive a cash gift of $1,900 for your new addition whilst working for us
  • Health and dental insurance for you, your partner and your children (if you all live at the same address)
  • Discounts on local gyms, restaurants and events
  • Personal life insurance and income protection
  • The option to join our company pension scheme

What happens next?

We will aim to get back to you as soon as possible. If you meet the criteria, then we’ll invite you to a Zoom interview.
