As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of the TELUS Finance team within the TBS Financial Planning & Analysis department. This role will support multiple products under TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Fixed portfolio.

Each day, this multi-faceted opportunity will keep you on your toes with value-add financial activities for our business partners including month-end reporting, investigations on product margins and assisting with forecasting.

At the core of your talents is your attention to detail and ability to communicate in order to transform your in-depth financial analysis into a clear format that stakeholders understand. You also assert confidence and determination when interfacing with managers at all levels of the organization. Being a trusted advisor on multiple products within TBS Fixed portfolio, you will have in-depth involvement in many aspects of their key business activities and processes.

This role will report to the Controller, TBS Finance and will work closely with other Analysts supporting the TBS Financial Planning Group.

Here's How

• Complete ad-hoc and other investigation, analysis and reporting as required
• Prepare monthly reporting and variance analysis for various stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate month-end reporting for multiple products
• Assist with forecasts for Triage and Budget
• Prepare/review/process monthly journal vouchers and manage accruals during the month-end process

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to scope out difficult tasks, set objectives and goals, develop schedules, prioritize multiple activities, and anticipate roadblocks
• Able to manage multiple deliverables to meet deadlines and goals in fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to present to senior management

Required Knowledge

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency with Google Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Google Sheets
• Working knowledge of SAP

Required Professional Designation/Certification

• Business, Finance or Accounting related degree
• Accounting Designation (CPA – CA/CMA/CGA) while not required is preferred

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
