Financial Analyst, General Accounting

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To

• Provide support to internal and external auditors in your field of expertise.
• Support the analyst in charge of the integration of Marine group entities.
• Support and advise on the use of management tools (Current and Planning).
• Understand BRP’s various internal processes in order to support analysts in relation to general accounting.
• Participate in special projects related to control activities (SOX).
• Participate in various ad hoc financial analyses.
• Support the analyst in charge of the integration of an entity in our accounting system (SAP-ECC).
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, projections and budgets by providing the necessary information for the positions under your control.
• Support the preparation of various management reports (support for the Finance/Management teams).
• Take responsibility for various topics related to general accounting.
• Participate in the team’s continuous improvement projects.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• A minimum of one to three (1 to 3) years of experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (optionally Accounting).
• Autonomy.
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
• Good command of English.
• Good knowledge of international accounting rules (IFRS).
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• The willingness to strive for continuous improvement in the performance of your duties.
• Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team.
• A CPA designation.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
