Accounting Financial Analyst Jobs

Reports to : Assistant Controller Essential Functions: Prepare various financial statements, reports and year-end files Responsible for the month-end closing of various companies within the Group General Ledger analysis, reconciliation and journal entry posting Implement new accounting requirements Manage all government accesses (MRQ, CRA) Support management of all corporate files Review internal processes to identify areas for improvement Create, analyze and manage various reports in Excel Execute any other administrative and accounting related task to support the Accounting Department SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 3-5 years of relevant experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel Proficient in the use of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Unicom, Sage 50) Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is a plus Ability to prioritize and multi-task Excellent attention to detail, methodical and analytical Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Pleasant, professional, team player Autonomous and solution oriented
