The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Accounting analyst. This job is full-time permanent.

Your Challenges

Reporting to the Manager costing and reporting, you will be part of a dynamic team that offers the Company several types of vital expertise and whose main values are self-sufficiency, constant improvement and the search for optimal solutions.

• Participate in the consolidation of financial reports for Pulp and Paper group
• Ensure data integrity and presentation to managers
• Identify and seize opportunities to improve consolidation and analysis processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and complete the necessary documentation for monitoring
• Accounting for closed mills of Pulp and Paper group
• Participate in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
• Management of natural gas usage and financial monitoring
• Analyse monthly financial data of closed mills

Your Profile

• Three to five years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in the manufacturing sector / production cost management would be an asset
• CPA designation would be an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Good knowledge of ERP financial modules (SAP an asset)

Your Skills

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and a strong interest in working with various computer systems
• Keen sense of organization, planning, discipline and precision
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both official languages
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering quality results
