Senior Accounting Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• -- Accounts Receivables
• -- Accounts Payables
• Support and train businesses on the following accounting concepts, in relation to the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP):
• Work with retail businesses to gather business requirements, identify process GAPs, and create project scope documents
• -- Cross-module experience with Inventory management (IM), Point of Sale (POS), and other ERP modules
• Design organizational and chart of accounts structures within an accounting solution by transforming business requirements into system specifications to meet current and future requirements and knowledgeable about various accounting roles
• -- Banking Integrations, EBS, and AR Cash Application process
• -- General Ledger
• -- Multi-national company and Intercompany transactions, eliminations and financial consolidations
• -- Asset Accounting
• -- Intercompany STOs, billing and EDI invoicing, and triangulation

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent
• Experience delivering complete Finance projects
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing financial solution projects on various financial modules, with similar responsibilities to the ones listed above
• Deep knowledge of financial processes integrated with logistics
• Mastery of MS-Office tools
• A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena
• CA-CPA designation an asset
