Senior Analyst Ip Business Solution

The business sector is currently looking for an employee who will define and support telecommunications services for the business sector. The senior ip business solution analyst will divide his time between operations and projects (new products, continuous improvement, etc.) while keeping in mind a concern for automation when possible. He will work hand in hand with the other functions of the technology team (IT, system, product, sales and software development) in order to deliver next-generation products.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of the architecture of new services as well as the architectures of upgrades.
• Be part of the rotation for level 3 customer services support, on a 24/7 basis
• Develop and implement new services, features and products within the business sector.
• Establish technical standards, build methods and educational material for network support and deployment specialists.
• Support the ever-growing needs of the access network, SD-WAN hubs and other business services provided by standardizing and deploying the necessary capacity and systems.
• Accompanies the customer network specialists in the development and validation of the most complex or non-standard cases and to respond to large calls for tenders.
• Ensure that the technical support and deployment team adheres to established technical standards
• Collaborate with manufacturers and partners for the implementation of new technologies and new ways of doing things.
• Participate in efforts to automate the services that the business sector provides.
• Support network specialists and managed services specialties in solving the most complex technical problems.
• Optimization of the availability and reliability of all services in the business sector.
• Planning and standardization of all ip equipment, configuration and services of the access network, as well as any other service that the business sector provides.

Qualifications

• Certifications from MEF, public cloud provider and manufacturer (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) an asset.
• Experience with documentation collaboration and project management systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Rigor in the tasks to be performed
• Experience in a Connectivity Service Provider or Managed Services environment
• University degree in technology or equivalent experience
• Bilingual (French/English), both written and spoken
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Willingness to take charge and resourcefulness
• Experience in automation languages (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python) an asset
• Experience with the following technologies: Cisco IOS & IOS XE & IOS XR, BGP, LDP, IPv6, HSRP, MPLS VPN, EoMPLS, EVPN, GRE, IPsec and Carrier Ethernet.
• Actively participates in teamwork
• Proven experience in resolving complex "bugs" in telecommunications and security equipment from "bug" identification and its trigger to resolution.
