We’re looking for a Senior Financial/Accounting Analyst/Manager to join our
International client who is the largest privately owned integrated physical security, cash
management and risk management companies in the world.
Our Montreal, Quebec based client is looking for a dynamic, autonomous leader who
will act as the right arm to the Finance Director to help oversee financial and accounting
operations in the organization. If you are results oriented and ready to take on
challenges in an ever-changing environment, this role may be the one for you!
Role and Responsibilities:
● Engage in and execute the procedure of finalizing accounting periods,
encompassing the recording of end-of-month entries and the creation of monthly
financial reports, while actively engaging in the examination and interpretation of
outcomes.
● Update and assess the balance sheet.
● Contribute to the planning, arrangement, and coordination of the yearly budget
process.
● Enhance existing procedures and take part in the implementation of new ones.
● Provide support to operations through diverse analyses and ongoing
improvement initiatives.
● Perform analysis on the balance sheet.
● Prepare various financial analyses and propose recommendations.
● Deliver financial results to multiple directors.
● Serve as a collaborative partner with various branches and internal departments.
● Take part in the integration project of a new operational system.
To qualify, the candidate must have:
● CPA
● Bilingual (work is 50% English / 50% French)
● 7-10 years of experience
● Good communication: ability to present / synthesize results to directors, VP
● Advanced excel skills
● Dynamic, dedicated, no problem with overtime (from time to time)
