Job Description
WHO IS OUR CLIENT?


Petro Rabigh was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. The plant is valued at about US $10 billion and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives. Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $9 billion that reached full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and provided a wide range of new high value-added products, some of which are exclusive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


We are looking for a Accounting Analyst to conduct analysis exercise in the areas of general ledger, payroll and payables, billing and receivables, fixed assets, projects and inventory and cash accounting to ensure proper accounting treatment, charging of cost elements in accordance with government regulations, Saudi Accounting and International Accounting standards and to support the statutory monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.

Requirements
  • Education/Certifications (specific educational qualifications, degree, certification required for this role)
  • BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration major in Accounting
  • Preferably 3 years in the related work area

  • 3) Knowledge in GOSI and DZIT regulations
  • 5) Communication skills

  • Competencies/Skills (Five key competencies from PRC behavioral and leadership competencies)
  • Deadlines consciousness
  • Sensitive to relativity and changes in cost figures
  • Specific knowledge & business understanding
  • Knowledge in SOCPA and International Accounting standards
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, theories and practice
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferable.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Monitoring of monthly selling price update and listed quantities delivered to customers.
  • Reconciliation and review of non-trade receivable accounts.
  • Reconciliation of inventories.
  • Monitoring of capital project costs
  • Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation
  • Preparation of the annual ZAKAT/Income Tax returns for submission to DZIT.
  • Preparation of analytical schedules of payroll accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes.
  • Preparation of reclassification and adjusting entries for errors.
  • Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation
  • Analyze monthly increase/decrease of payroll accounts for PR employees and Secondees.
  • Preparation of asset records for capital assets for capitalization in each capital project for uploading in SAP System.
  • Conduct SAP Payroll System logic testing for new employees benefits and payroll deductions in accordance with HR policies.
  • Reconciliation of monthly GOSI and Savings Plan contributions
  • Preparation of reclassification and adjusting entries for erroneous charges to projects.
  • Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation
  • Handling of outstanding bank accounts reconciling items.
  • Preparation of analytical schedules of General Ledger accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit and submission to Capital Market Authority purposes.
  • Review and analyze customer account balances.
  • Preparation of allocation of project cost to various capital assets for capitalization in each capital project.
  • Preparation of capital project reports requested by proponents and Management.
  • Administer material physical inventory by recording transactions of the inventory movement as per the company's approach to ensure proper management of supplies and valuation of the company's periodical inventory book closing. Participate in year end physical inventory take and reconciliations with the SAP MM module.
  • Preparation of final settlement for terminated employees.
  • Reconciliation and preparation of monthly bank accounts, Withholding Tax return for remittance to DZIT.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries for business month end closing.
  • Preparation of aging of customers accounts.
  • Review and analyze vendor accounts and payable clearing accounts.
  • Preparation of detailed capital asset list for capitalization in each capital project.
  • Preparation of analytical schedules of vendor accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes.
  • Preparation of sales reports.
  • Review and post in SAP Systems accounting entries for vendors' processed invoices, debit and credit notes.
  • Preparation of aging of vendors accounts

  • 2. Interviews stage


2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.


If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.


If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.


2.2 Client phone/video interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our Client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.


If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team from our client will schedule a call with you to evaluate your qualifications.


The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.


If your phone interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, and they will invite you to a video interview when hiring managers are available.

2.3 Video interviews with hiring managers: which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.

A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
