The KSB Group is one of the leading producers of pumps, valves and related service offerings. Annual sales revenue is over 2200 million euro.


The Purpose of your role:

The role functions to support the Company’s 5-year growth strategy in the General Industry Market area and the development of standard business.


Success is based upon marketing and business development of the standard business lines and adding new customers within the General Industry Market area.


Your Key Responsibilities:

· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek out and identify potential customers or leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.

· Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. This involves effective communication, understanding customer needs, providing relevant information, and addressing any concerns or objections.

· Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the products or services being sold. This includes knowing their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, as well as being able to effectively communicate this information to potential customers.

· Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations or demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of the products or services. Tailor the presentations to the specific needs and interests of the customer.

· Handling Objections: Address customer concerns or objections in a professional and persuasive manner. Understand the customer's perspective, provide solutions, and highlight the value of the offering to overcome objections.

· Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate effectively to find win-win solutions for both the customer and the company.

· Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, preferences, and sales activities using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

· Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

· Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities. Provide feedback on customer preferences and needs to refine marketing strategies.

· Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development. Continuously seek ways to enhance sales skills and adapt to changing market conditions.
