All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
Job Purpose
- Drive a sense of ownership, urgency and accountability through the team
- Be a corporate liaison with customers and Smith & Nephew Canada
- Work with senior leaders to provide strategic feedback on business performance
- Live out the Smith & Nephew values on a daily basis
- Lead a sales team in defined region to achieve sales goals; reporting to the Business Unit Director
- Motivate, Inspire, Lead and Guide a focussed sales team
- Lead, manage and motivate Account Managers to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop regional goals and objectives in concert with representative goals and objectives. Provide guidance and feedback as to areas of excellence and opportunity for improvement. Implement goals and objectives to achieve regional/divisional plans;
- Work with team to drive sales force effectiveness principles through deep account management and strong strategic focus
- Strong ability to interact intensively with marketing to implement initiatives and to provide valuable feedback for enhancement.
- Work closely with Business Unit Director and other Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategy and closely track, monitor and adjust based on results
- Manage contractual business situations (i.e. contracts, tenders, proposals, renewals etc.) in a manner that increases our sales and profitability, specific knowledge of major customers preferred pricing requirements;
- Develop/utilize tracking systems for existing business that needs renewal as well as competitive expiry dates to secure our business and target competitive business;
- Develop, establish and further key customer relationships;
- Leverage Business Development Managers to support sales initiatives and strategies
- Contribute to the annual development/refinement of strategic plan, through specific ideas for improvement tempered by field knowledge;
- University degree;
- Ability to mentor, coach, and develop strong sales team
- Strong business etiquette.
- At least five years successful sales experience and two years minimum sales management experience;
- Superior communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities;
