Position Summary

• Use of shared email to address and support the needs as they arise.
• Supports activities for the outside District Sales Representatives (DSR) including order and delivery management via telephone and email.
• Helps drive account growth and profitability by undertaking administrative job duties as it pertains to the sales department.

Schedule

• Hybrid position: Currently 3 days in office at the Milton Distribution Centre and 2 days remote.
• Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborates with other departments to meet all customer needs, internal reporting and customer record keeping.
• Provides routing assistance for changes to deliveries such as time delays, adjustments in delivery days, etc.
• Provides support to sales representatives coordinating customer service, orders, credits, submitting request changes, forms, reporting, etc.
• Additional Ad hoc requests as required.
• Participates in general sales meetings and promotions.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills when dealing with unique or difficult situations.
• Provides support to the sales representatives through order management activities (couriers, off day requests, bill to/ship to), etc.
• Provides support with weekly markdown catalogs/flyers.
• Provides support to non traditional sales rep through truck load admin support.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• High organized with a great attention to detail.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources and apply business practices.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Encourages collaboration with others to achieve a common goal.
• Ability to learn and use Genisys, Powersell, CRM, Gordon Ordering and other various systems.
• A self starter that can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Ability to perform 10-key data entry.
• Must have good customer service and time management skills.
