Staffmax is hiring for OSS Install Supervisor. This is a full time Permanent position.

Purpose of the role: Responsible for the day to day OSS field Installations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure employee reviews are completed according company policy
• Continuous monitoring of Install schedule to stay informed of daily activities and events.
• Delegate assignments to field staff as appropriate.
• Work in the field completing Installation jobs with your crew. - Complete utility locates
• Follow up with field crews to ensure accurate documentation and time sheets are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Review and inspect work zones to ensure compliance with maps & legends and regulatory specifications.
• Assist Install Manager when hiring new staff
• Supervise field staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks as assigned.
• Completion of appropriate seminars/course work to keep abreast of changes in industry.
• Ensure any work zone deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all trucks and equipment are in good clean working order on a regular basis to ensure best possible presentation and efficient execution of all installation assignments.
• Ensure field crews are properly conducting and documenting hazard assessments for each Installation assignment.
• Mobilization of resources ensuring timely execution of daily scheduled events.
• Complete site inspection documentation and file for future reference.
• Insure field crews are working in compliance with safety program.
• Ensure that the Installation crew are fully trained and stay abreast of changes in the industry
• Liaise with Install coordinator to ensure seamless communications between office and field activities.

Ensure field crew has appropriate training and their certificates are maintained - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Reliable, punctual and able to work with little supervision
• Valid class 5 driving license
• Adhere to our safety program fully including passing a drug/alcohol test Experience with Microsoft office 365 operation system
• Availability to work overtime as required Experience with locates
• Willing to travel to other branches and/or for training

Knowledge of the rental shop, install, traffic tech, dispatch and coordinator roles.

Completion of the Lean Program (Preferred).

Experience:

2 — 5 years' experience with Installations

- Minimum I-year supervisor experience

- Training provided to the right candidate
