Adecco is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Billing Coordinator to join our client's dynamic Accounts Receivable team in Brampton, ON.   • Pay rate: $20 - $21 / hour
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday| 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities:?


  • Maintain the billing system, filing system, and document management.
  • Reconcile and monitor error reports and relevant reports from internal and external systems.
  • Assist with the month-end close process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of invoices, credits, and adjustments, transferring them to the Financial Reporting system.
  • Meet established deadlines, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Performance Metrics.
  • Review, implement, and recommend processes in accordance with agreed-upon Terms and Conditions.
  • Take ownership of platforms, including system configuration, onboarding new clients/patients, administration, and invoice submissions.
  • Collaborate with individual branches to verify the accuracy of billable goods and services.
  • Engage in productive communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Prepare departmental reports and assist with data collection.
  • Monitor various billing inboxes and respond to customer requests promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Support audit reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and processes.


Qualifications:?


  • Ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada?
  • Familiarity with Accounting Principles and Practices, and Accounts Receivable End-to-end Processes
  • Demonstrates effective relationship management and communication skills at all levels.
  • Adaptability and openness to change.
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma with a concentration in Finance/Accounting or related Discipline
  • Exceptional computer skills, including MS Office and intermediate Excel proficiency (ability to create VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables).
  • Knowledge of POD's (Proof of Delivery) and BOL's (Bill of Lading) and its impact on the Bill-To-Cash Cycle
  • Knowledge of EDI Billing, e-billing, and 3rd-party submissions. Experience in Medical Billing, including Government billing, is advantageous
  • Strong collaboration skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to approach problems logically and seek innovative solutions, even under pressure.
  • Demonstrates the desire to learn and adapt quickly
  • Self-starter with keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective time management skills.
  • Must be dependable and accountable?
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and verbal) is a definite asset!
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and innovative thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in a large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
