Corporate Controller - Construction - 100K - Montreal

We are looking for a controller for a construction company, in the heart of Montreal, for a 12 month contract with a possibility of permanency. If you are a CPA, have experience in IFRS, like to improve the processes in place and supervise a team, this position is for you!
The corporate controller will be in charge of the production and revision of the financial statements, of the management of a team of two accounting technicians, of the approval of various operations of the company and of the budget process.

Responsibilities
For this corporate controller role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Presentation of the financial results and recommendations for the management
• Responsible of the continuous improvement of accounting processes
• Approval of accounting operations
• Production and revision of the financial statements
• Supervision and coaching of two accounting technicians
• Management of the annual budget process
• Responsible of the audit file

Qualifications
For this corporate controller role, we are looking for:

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of CCQ
• Bilingual
• Knowledge of IFRS
• CPA
