Our accounting team is looking for a financial controller who is keen to take on a new challenge within an SME serving major clients. You will be responsible for our financial accounting team. You will also be in charge of the entire month-end process and act as a resource person during the annual audit. We're looking for someone with the ability to grasp needs quickly in a fast-moving environment. You will also have to maintain harmonious business relations, since you will be in contact with several stakeholders (Soucy Group head office, external auditors, etc.).
Here's An Overview Of Your Tasks

• Prepare the annual audit file and act as a resource person for the external auditors' annual visit
• Supervise the financial accounting team
• Analysing the profitability of various investment projects and carrying out various cost analyseses
• Prepare the various grant applications
• Participate in the project to implement a new ERP (SAP) and other special projects
• Assist the Financial Director
• Manage the month-end process and prepare the monthly financial statements
• Implement performance monitoring and management tools
• Participate in the management of all accounting transactions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Rigour, analytical skills, leadership and autonomy are desirable qualities
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards
• Bachelor of Accounting
• Excellent command of MS Office software, particularly Excel
• 5 years' relevant experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Ability to manage several files simultaneously under tight deadlines
• CPA accounting designation
