Job description
Financial Controller/Finance Manager Canada
Ecu Worldwide is a global leading NVOCC logistics operator. Our office in Canada is in search of a qualified candidate for a position as Finance Manager.
The incumbent would be responsible for:
• Working closely with local director and global finance executive team to transform the business, grow revenues and expand margins.
• Enhance the finance key initiatives, policies, procedures, and controls
• Successfully engage a Revenue Management System, Oracle ERP, a full suite of KPI’s, and SOX Controls
• Generate timely, accurate, and detailed reporting and analysis to improve strategic management
• Optimize cash flow and balance sheet: Capital expenditures, Net Working Capital, etc.
• Improve control environment: SEC, Statutory, External Auditors, and Risk Management
• Established regional standardized financial strategic planning and reporting with the implementation of KPI’s
• Responsible for filing public financials, regulatory requirements, investor relations, treasury and tax
• Auditors relationship as well as statutory and legal matters
• Lead analysis and justification for capital expenditures
• Regularly review strategy, plans and performance with all stakeholders
• Execute divestitures, investments, and mergers to drive value creation preferred Industry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook – Oracle & SAP ERP Systems / Or Microsoft D365.
EDUCATION : CPA / MBA
LANGUAGES : Oral and written English is a must with knowledge of French and Spanish being an asset.
