What will your typical day look like?
Working closely with other members of the Event Experience team, the Event Experience Coordinator leads all administrative tasks in addition to supporting the project management and execution of the elements required to deliver virtual and in-person events, on a national basis across the firm. With guidance from the team, this role uses established procedures to:
  • Research on best practices and evolving event trends
  • Lead our sustainability event strategy. Develop, maintain and deploy process to continue our goal to host zero-waste events. Develop reporting capabilities on these metrics.
  • Assist with the coordination of both client and staff facing events; to include on-site support (virtual and/or in-person)
  • Includes contract processing, payment and credit card reconciliation, team schedules, updating the event dashboard, inbox management
  • Support registration services and reporting where applicable for events
  • Answer general event questions and respond to requests for data in a professional and efficient manner Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase productivity
  • Administrative duties will take up 80% of the candidates capacity
  • Primarily provide administration support for events and team members
  • Assigned to support project-based tasks in support of the greater team priorities
With this said, no two days are the same. 
About The Team
The Event Experience team are responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery for National virtual, hybrid and in-person events and programming. Event planning and delivery include program design and creation, external supplier and production management and technology event solutions that enable an elevated and seamless experience.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:
  • One year of professional experience in an administrative role
  • Able to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner
  • Working towards the completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma, event and/or hospitality management areas are preferred
  • Bilingual in English/French would be asset
  • Previous knowledge of Cvent, Concur and Ariba would be an asset
  • Comfort in supporting onsite events
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize.
  • Able to work effectively on a team in a virtual team environment Strong in MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Motivated, a self-starter, independent and proactive
