We are looking for a Canadian subject matter and compliance expert that can:

• Answer questions regarding regulations in Canadian provinces and territories.
• Review trucking curriculum content with expertise in all Canadian provinces and territories (e.g. warning triangle regulations, speed limit signs).
• Be on contract to write curriculum on an ad hoc basis as needed.

We are expanding our offerings in Canada and are looking for a responsive Canadian contractor to help with our regulatory questions and curriculum needs. Our #1 goal is to get drivers home safe and you could have a direct role in support of this goal.

Specific responsibilities for ad hoc writing will include:

• All content must be original. Write the content in own words and knows that Luma affords the right to turn content into a plagiarism detection tool such as TurnitIn.com.
• Write an overview, an explore (deeper into the content), and 10 multiple-select questions. Typically, this content is written in Word and/or Google docs. A template and examples are provided. The content takes a learner 6-8 minutes to complete. They are microlessons.
• The delivery is text only. SME may provide ideas for possible images, animations or videos but Luma creates all media unless explicitly agreed on with copyright permissions.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Ongoing consulting to ensure up-to-date content as laws and regulations change.
• Must know Canadian provinces and territories laws.
• Back ground in safety, compliance, regulations a must.

Compensation

• Hourly. The average microlesson should take 2-3 hours to complete. Rate is agreed upon.
• This position could lead to ongoing subject matter expert work.
