The leading global Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner is looking for an Accountant, and this position will be based in Canada.

MAIN MISSION

Ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Maintain efficient processes for supplier invoice processing, cash management, tax reporting and collaborate with the Finance team globally.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

General accounting

Book month-end journal entries (revenue recognition, accruals, prepayments...)

Book payroll entry

Monthly intercompany reinvoicing and intercompany reconciliation

Monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliation

Cashflow

Daily bank reconciliation and updating customer payment status in Xero and Ostinato (internal tools)

Maintain a cash flow forecast updated with outstanding receipts and payments, report on cash forecast twice a month

Work in collaboration with the business operations department and sales team for outstanding AR collection

Accounts Payables

Supplier invoice processing: reconciliation, follow-up and payment

Vendor database maintenance in ERP

Tax

Monthly sales tax filing and payment reconciliation

Year End Closing

Year-end audit documentation to auditors

TOOLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Experience With ERP (Oracle Netsuite Is Preferred)

EDUCATION LEVEL AND DIPLOMA

University degree in accounting or finance

CPA designation or working towards it

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance

Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communication skills

Detail-oriented

Problem solver

Proficiency in French is highly preferred
