Job Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE:


The position is part of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team providing financial guidance to the BMS (B2B Mobility and Sales) leadership team. As a business partner and finance leader, you will help drive performance across Global BMS team from a financial and operational perspective. This position provides information to facilitate management decisions with respect to P&L / OPEX / CAPEX through financial analysis; ad hoc data requests and problem solving; researching and analyzing accounting data; and preparing periodic reporting.


KEY DELIVERABLES:


Reporting and controlling:


  • Research variances to budget; correct booking errors by submitting re-class requests, coordinates periodic cost accruals with shared services teams
  • Assisting Global BMS leadership teams with ad hoc financial analysis, overall performance insights
  • Prepare and interpret financial reports by compiling and analyzing financial data from different sources and summarizing account information and trends
  • Analyze and track period financial reports versus budget and prior year performance and provide comments
  • Ensure Department costs are controlled and anticipates any risks/opportunities
  • Maintain and mature P&L model for BMS Europe and collaborate cross-functionally to align financial data structure to meet BMS’ needs


Business planning:


  • Coordinating and aligning process and deliveries across stakeholders
  • Coordinating and aligning CAPEX needs/targets/plans with stakeholders
  • Supporting overall strategy and ambition level setting
  • Leading and coordinating overall business planning process across Global BMS network
  • Leading Global BMS department cost and FTE budgeting process


Finance Business Partner:


  • Supporting with various admin tasks during organizational changes and projects
  • Developing and/or reviewing business cases for capital investment projects
  • Performing various internal and external benchmarks
  • Presenting performance and results in various arenas/networks
  • Leading finance streams and deliveries in business development projects


Other:


  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related annual objectives.
  • Traveling required – approx. 2%-5% of the time
  • Ensures compliance with requirements, policies, and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies, and governmental regulations.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.


PROFILE AND SKILLS:


  • Comfortable initiating actions and taking responsibility to secure agreed output
  • Comfortable working independently, in cross-functional teams, and in a global role
  • Must have advanced knowledge in Excel, working knowledge PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Motivated by challenging tasks and complex projects across many countries and regions
  • Must have strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of management.

  • Experience working with large and complex datasets

  • Experience in a commercial setting
  • Must be willing to adapt to a dynamic business environment, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Experience working with financial systems (Longview, PDI, JD Edwards, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 5-10 of years relevant experience preferably in financial analysis, strategic planning, and/or budgeting and forecasting)
