Profile sought

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the billing technician reviews, corrects and prepares the invoice requests he/she receives in addition to carrying out various follow-ups related to invoicing with the firm's lawyers and/or paralegals.

Specifically, The Incumbent Will Be Responsible For

• Performing downloads as well as monitoring of all electronic invoicing via different platforms in support;
• Preparing invoicing, following up on write-off requests and ensuring compliance by applying internal procedures;
• Generating and sending monthly statements to customers;
• Processing invoice cancellations, credit notes and corrections to lawyers' and paralegals' time entries;
• Other related tasks.

Required Experience And Knowledge

• More than five years of professional experience in billing, ideally in a professional services firm;
• Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in administrative techniques or accounting or other training deemed relevant to this position;
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
