Job Description

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for a variety of financial and non-financial tasks such as customer account set-up, monthly billing, collections, and answering inquiries.


  1. Sets up and/or cancels customer accounts and participates in monthly billing run including creating daily one-off invoices
  2. Performs collection activities
  3. Receives payments by the way of credit card, cheque, EFT, e-transfer and ACH utilizing processing system when applicable; including applying payments to customer accounts
  4. Responds and resolves customer inquiries via the iTel ticketing system and phone
  5. Performs different calculations including existing Excel/Gsuite templates or creating new templates when needed.
  6. Learns service and products and stays up-to-date on current trends and software changes within the company
  7. Keeps customer churn report up to date
  8. Assists with creating efficient and effective systems and processes for the Finance Department.
  9. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field plus one to two years’ recent, related experience. A combination of education, skills, and experience may be considered.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to organize work, be accurate, set priorities, multi-task and work with minimal direction; ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of Netsuite is an asset
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
  • Experienced in G-suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Have a can-do attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  • Demonstrates initiative and adaptability
