Job Description
Billing Coordinator (Part Time)


Our client is seeking a part time Billing Coordinator to support the day-to-day purchase order requests and invoicing for their Esports group. The role of the Billing Coordinator is dynamic and multi-faceted, requiring advanced communication skills, great customer service, a strong mathematical and financial data driven skill set, and an ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple deadlines. The Billing Coordinator will report to the Billing Manager and assist in the execution of invoice processing across a portfolio of titles.


Requirements


What you will do:


  • Raise purchase order requests for Esports through Oracle
  • Ensure PO’s are in line and updated in the Budget Control Doc (BCD) on SharePoint
  • Initiate and track new supplier setup applications
  • Receipt POs for current month on latest knowledge of whether activations have taken place or whether services have been delivered during that month. Note: receiving must line up with timing of activation and not when you receive the invoice
  • Update PO trackers for receipts, payments, and cost recognition adjustments
  • Demonstrate great customer service with internal and external partners
  • Audit all incoming supplier invoices to ensure the data submitted is in compliance with AP policy and send to AP


What we're looking for:


  • Comfortable with accounts payable principles, mathematics, accruals, and large datasets
  • Must be proactive in requesting information to ensure financial deadlines are met
  • Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks without continual input
  • Critical thinker who can analyze situations and come up with creative solutions that are compliant with company policy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and organized, as you will be working with a global team in a remote role
  • Great attention to detail
  • Service orientated attitude


Skills we want you to have:


  • Proven experience working efficiently with large datasets in Excel
  • Minimum intermediate proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Familiarity in Oracle a plus but not required or similar programs


Experience:


  • Degree or diploma in accounting or similar
  • Proven experience as a Billing Coordinator or similar position


Location- Vancouver ( Remote)


Hours Per Week: 4 day/20 week - preferably early morning to coordinate with contacts in UK and EST(9am -1:00pm PST)


Ideal Start Date: July 1( 1year contract)


Salary: 25/hr
