Bridge is a leading supply chain provider that specialises in the IBM sterling OMS and WMS as well as the market innovator Fluent OMS. Pivotree was known for its expertise in the “find” and “buy” pillars of commerce. With this acquisition, we will deliver on helping our customers to improve the “get” pillar as well making us truly an end-to-end provider of friction less commerce services

Position Summary

Participates in developing strategies and long-term plans for researching new or projected operating systems and complete software architecture.Researches, analyzes and proposes new software architecture designs and evaluates and recommends enhancements to existing software architecture. Designs, researches and develops components of software architecture. Coordinates and/or provides technical direction on integration of new complex technologies with overall software architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and/or provides technical direction on integration of new complex technologies with overall software architecture.
• Participates in presenting technical plans and proposals to various technical and non-technical groups and provides recommendations.
• Designs, researches and develops components of software architecture.
• Participates in developing strategies and long-term plans for researching new or projected operating systems and complete software architecture.
• Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends highly creative solutions for complex software problems that impact software and/or systems architecture.
• Researches, analyzes and proposes new software architecture designs and evaluates and recommends enhancements to existing software architecture. Evaluates proposed hardware architecture for software impact and provides recommendations on integrating designs with existing architecture.

Skills & Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of overall software architecture and related databases.
• Ability to conceptualize and interpret new architectural designs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software architecture problems that require highly creative solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of related software languages.
• Comprehensive knowledge of system software engineering methodologies, principles and practices.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Knowledge of research resources.
• Ability to research, analyze and interpret highly complex technical data for comprehension at various organizational levels and provide recommendations.
• Ability to lead and/coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development tools and methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience For Consideration: Eight years of software engineering and/or development experience, including analyzing, designing and developing major software programs and troubleshooting and resolving complex software problems for major software projects.
• Education: BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Desirable: Previous experience as a panel member or speaker at conventions or meetings that entailed conveying an organization’s technical development, innovations, services, issues and other related interests.

Experience

Eight years of software engineering and/or development experience, including analyzing, designing and developing major software programs and troubleshooting and resolving complex software problems for major software projects.

Good To Have

Previous experience as a panel member or speaker at conventions or meetings that entailed conveying an organization’s technical development, innovations, services, issues and other related interests.
