JOB SUMMARY
Frank And Oak is looking for a System Administrator who will have a technical support role for all company users including all divisions (head office/stores/warehouse). The System Administrator will also be responsible for the day-to-day deployment and configuration of computer equipment. He/she will be required to answer users' questions and implement improvements in order to support the company's IT procedures and ensure user support on a daily basis (delivery, breakdowns, repairs, access management and creation of employee accounts). You will have the opportunity to deploy your expertise within a young, motivated and dynamic team of IT experts!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embrace and excel in all IT-related activities that directly or indirectly influence our technology landscape
- Provide technical support spanning levels 1, 2, and 3, extending your expertise to address user issues effectively
- Craft, document, and communicate user procedures, empowering users to interact seamlessly with our technology environment
- Proactively monitor and maintain IT equipment (computer, network switch, Wi-Fi antennas, etc) to keep it up to date and in optimal working condition, all while adhering to budget constraints
- Collaborate in the execution of diverse infrastructure projects, including store openings, software migrations, and new equipment deployments, ensuring their successful delivery
- Install and integrate various peripherals, enhancing user productivity and functionality
- Employ your problem-solving acumen to anticipate potential issues and take preemptive measures to resolve them before they impact users whenever possible
- Offer comprehensive support to users across our head office and stores promptly addressing a wide range of requests
- Efficiently manage the end-to-end equipment procurement process, aligning with the IT budget and meeting the evolving needs of the company
- Take charge of user access and permissions management, encompassing onboarding of new employees and termination procedures
- Keep meticulous records of computer and telephone equipment inventory, user accesses and licenses generating insightful reports as required
- Configure and optimize computer and network equipment, ensuring seamless performance of laptops, desktops, and related systems
WHO YOU ARE
- Proactive, autonomous and have a sense of initiative and responsibility
- 5+ years of experience
- You are a genuinely nice human being
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (French and English), both oral and written
- Versatile and a strong desire to learn and grow within an IT team
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- College degree or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and team player
TECH SKILLS REQUIRED
- Google Workspace
- JumpCloud or any SSO system
- Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence)
- SimpleMDM or any MDM system
- Microsoft Azure
- AWS
- MacOS and Mac computers
- Basic Network Knowledge (Firewall, VLAN, SSID, etc)
