System Administrator Jobs

This is a Hybrid role that will require you to go into the office 2 times a week. This is a smaller immature environment. This role will require setting up processes and securities. Managing a Hybrid environment is good experience to have

Experience and Skills Required

• Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V and remote assistance technology
• Experience and knowledge of network and cloud security structures, OWASP, and vulnerability mitigation
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Office 365)
• Possess fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
• Strong understanding of business concepts and workflows
• 5+ years in Network Administration role
• Plan and execute new environment setups for Azure Services, VMs and managed SQL instances
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and tasks at once
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Window Server
• 5+ years of hands-on product support preferably in SaaS environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
• Experience with Microsoft Azure administration, management, Application Services, Virtual Servers, and security 3-5+ years of experience
• Experience managing MS Office 365 and Exchange (not essential)
• Confidence and ability to interface professionally across all levels of the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Help gap infrastructure for scaling
• Leveraging internal knowledgebase, technical resources and supporting staff resolve or escalate customer issues.
• Work with our security team to monitor and respond quickly to security risks and continue to develop security standards
• Analyzing system and project costs
• Planning and scheduling development of new environments and new systems
• Test release of products to minimize user impact
• Manage issue escalation and resource scheduling
• Manage and give insight on Azure Services and Infrastructure
• Perform yearly infrastructure performance evaluation and costs assessments
• Evaluate and recommend system updates
• Monitor network and ensure optimal performance
• Responsible for production infrastructure, internal infrastructure, product security, and technical product suites that are used within the organization.
