Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Inventory team. As a Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing inventory management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize Excel, Power Automate, and Power Apps to analyze inventory data, track stock levels, and streamline inventory-related workflows.


Core Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and publish reports and Metrics to ensure operational efficiencies and targets are met.
  • Create operation manuals and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure processes are adhered to.
  • Proactively apply continuous improvement methodologies to internal processes as well as other cross functional processes and services to improve supply chain productivity, reduce costs, and foster strong partnerships.
  • Automate processes and develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform and other utilities to facilitate operations, reduce errors and increase supply chain efficiency.
  • Work closely with the quality department to ensure seamless supply to support quality procedures.
  • Develop and implement improvement methods to enhance inventory accuracy and reliability of supply chain planning processes, tools, and reporting to support organizational goals (i.e. capacity planning, productivity improvements, percent of perfect order initiative, improved quality, etc..)
  • Maintain and update/enhance RPA tools and processes as requested by end users.
  • Provide training and support for new and updated tools and processes to ensure proper use.
  • Leverage and further develop technical and business expertise in order to enhance process, queries, reports and information streams within the Distribution network.
  • Communicate frequently with associates to identify potential improvements and issues with current and proposed processes.
  • Various ad hoc analytical work, assessing options, presenting findings, and contributing to alternative solutions to improve performance.


Qualifications


  • Use discretion and independent judgement to answer business questions and propose solutions
  • Ability to work effectively both independently or in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deliverables.
  • Consistently demonstrates proven ability to learn and use necessary tools.
  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel Required
  • Completed a degree/diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field is an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or UiPath considered an asset
  • Self-Starter, highly organized, with strong time management skills and strong work ethic.
  • Exposure to logistics design analysis and distribution networks
  • Ability to follow process and standard procedures
  • Some coding experience required (preferably in VBA or M language)
  • Experience in supply chain or inventory control considered an asset
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Smartsheet, Visio)
  • Excellent oral and written commication
  • Experience analyzing large sets of data
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
