Job Description

This role would be a hybrid work environment 2-3 day from home and working hours (8:30 – 4:30 35/hrs a week).

Inventory Analyst Parts for OEM

Summary:

To provide analytical support for the Inventory Management team enabling greater visibility and control. To ensure that all system parameters, rules and control variables are appropriately set in order to optimize inventory investment based on corporate objectives. To ensure that forecasts are relevant, accurate and consistently updated.

  • Work with Finance to provide data and metrics to assist with the development of annual budgets
  • Inventory to ensure that obsolescence and inactivity are identified and communicated to Finance, Sales & Dealer Support
  • Participate in improvement projects and communicated updates
  • Work with Sales to create accurate item forecasts that meet customer fill rate
  • Work with Sales and Finance to meet monthly investment & fill rate targets
  • Work collaboratively with the Continuous Improvement team to participate in ‘LEAN’ (or equivalent) events.
  • Ensure that the inventory levels are appropriately set to achieve fill rate requirements and inventory turns.
  • Participate in the S&OP process along with Sales & Operations to ensure a smooth flow of inventory
  • Research, review and assess options for process, critical inventory variables & system enhancement
  • Monitor and report fill rates, inventory level, shortages, supplier service levels and lead times
  • Monitor tools that highlight service metrics related to Inventory Management performance
  • Inventory Optimization & Systems Maintenance, inventory control and supply chain management
  • Monitor inventory to ensure that obsolescence and inactivity are identified and communicated to Finance, Sales & Dealer Support

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft office skills (Word, Power Point, Access, and Excel) Power BI is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, financial or accounting experience would be an asset
  • Completion of, or enrollment in the APICS / CPIM accreditation would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices
  • 3+ years experience in inventory control and supply chain management
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in process analysis and design
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Bachelors degree
