Inventory Analyst (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)

The Canadian Supply Chain Team is looking for an individual to drive and enhance inventory management and all related processes. This role requires advanced understanding of excel, SAP, and all aspects of Inventory Management and is responsible for delivering reliable and accurate Master Data for Canada.
What will you be doing?
Field Consignment Inventory Management
Responsible for inventory management of 200+ Canadian Hospitals & Private Surgery Centers’ consignment inventories through collaboration with sales and marketing teams and directly with customers.
This includes:
- Responsible for coordinating annual inventory at all customer consignment locations and performing necessary system transactions related to inventory reconciliation.
- Conducting weekly meetings with marketing team to report on inventory status/ availability for new customer consignment requirements. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure necessary requirements are ordered / available for upcoming consignment opportunities.
- Providing reports and analysis of customer consignment inventory to ensure compliance and quality of customer held inventory.
- Working collaboratively with the sales & marketing teams during the reconciliation process.
- Monthly reporting of consignment inventory and SLED reporting including notifications to the sales force and customer sites.
Local Warehouse Inventory Management
Responsible for reporting and optimization of local onsite Canadian warehouse inventory.
This includes:
- Monthly inventory analysis of local inventory to report/ identify areas of optimization.
- Warehouse SLED (expired or near-expired) reporting.
- Performing systematic returns, inventory transactions (including batch matching) and management of different inventory storage locations.
- Providing LIFR, OTF, Inventory Value, Safety Stock and other inventory related reports as requested.
- Providing quality reports for inventory movements (set turn report, capital usage) metrics and all Supply Chain KPI reports as requested
Canadian Master Data Steward
Responsible for Canadian Master Data working with the Global MDM team and their process to ensure accurate and up to date Master Data. This includes but not limited to:
- Creation of set BOMS and verifying data for new and existing products.
- New product launches, portfolio optimization project, maintain status for Canadian market, create/amend/extend/expire all aspects of Product data using the GBS ticket system
What will you need to be successful?
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High degree of self-motivation interpersonal skills.
- SAP Experience Required.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of related experience of Inventory management in SAP environment.
- Strong process orientation, problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams.
- Education: University Degree (preferred)
- Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting (Bilingual French & English preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in performing under tight timelines.
- Experience within medical device industry & consignment management.
- Travel Requirements: 10%
